Dale Thorpe
CEO & President

Dale Thorpe, Co-Founder and President of NuTek Material Solutions, has for the past 35 years, been troubleshooting Welding, Assembly and Manufacturing processes over the globe. Intense military training in Nondestructive Testing and certification as NDT Level III in 1977 through ASNT, gives Dale the background and experience to provide the greatest expertise in process evaluation. During the 1980's while involved with the Alaskan Pipeline project, Dale formed Thorpe Technical Service to serve the Petrochemical Industry in North America and the Middle East. Dale has since served as a consultant for a variety of other industries using his training to help Aerospace, Automotive and Nuclear projects to successful conclusions. In 1998 Dale created his other company AMS to fulfill the NDT needs of the Automotive industry. By combining the science of conventional Nondestructive Testing with Automation and Manufacturing from AMS, NuTek can satisfy most customer project requirements all under one roof.

Dean Esterberg
Vice President

Dean Esterberg, Co-Founder and Vice President of NuTek Material Solutions, has over 25 years experience in the design and manufacture of high volume automotive components. Dean's background and experience in the design of safety critical products can provide customers with key assistance in the application of Resonant Inspection technology. He has extensive training in various tools and methods to successfully launch products and support high volume production including Design for Assembly / Design for Manufacture (DFA/DFM), Statistical Process Control (SPC), Simultaneous Engineering Teams (SET) and Design of Experiments (DOE). He is a certified Green Belt and trained Champion in Six Sigma. Dean holds a MBA in Technology Management.
